Learn what constitutes bullying & harassment and explore how to prevent or respond to these behaviours.

Workplace bullying can have severe consequences to individuals and organisations. This course follows the fictional experience of a care worker to demonstrate the characteristics of workplace bullying and harassment. Learners will see how the legislation and internal organisational policies and procedures can help to support staff and minimise bullying and harassment in the workplace.

In addition, practical strategies for reducing and responding to bullying and harassment are presented to demonstrate how to promote a healthy and respectful workplace.

After completing this course, participants should be able to:

  • Describe the responsibilities of employers and employees
  • Explain what constitutes bullying and harassment in the workplace
  • Recognise how to prevent these behaviours
  • Recognise how to appropriately respond to these behaviours
