This course describes common learning disabilities and some of the ways they might impact a person and their activities of daily living.

After completing this course, participants should be able to:
- Define and describe common learning disabilities and their causes.
- Identify how a learning disability can impact an individual as they age.
- Recognise how a learning disability can impact a person’s activities of daily living.

This course is suitable for new support staff, experienced support staff and registered nurses.
