This course will help you to recognise the signs and symptoms of long term mental health conditions, such as bipolar disorder and schizophrenia. You will learn how to provide appropriate support and maintain safety.

After completing this course, participants should be able to:

  • Discuss bipolar disorder and explain signs and symptoms
  • Discuss how to provide appropriate support to clients with mental health conditions and maintain safety

Who is this course appropriate for:

This course is appropriate for RNs as well as new and experienced care/support staff who support people living with a mental health condition, or have an interest in learning more about the topic.

Up to 8 hours can be earned completing this course.
