By completing this course you will discover why good oral health is important and learn how to assist with the maintenance of oral hygiene.

- Define oral health and identify the risk factors

- Implement strategies for preventing poor oral hygiene
- Assist an older person with the cleaning of their teeth and/or dentures
Who is this course appropriate for:
This course is appropriate for all staff working in residential aged care who support people with activities of daily living.

Up to 8 hours can be earned completing this course.
