Preparing for an Inspection
Course Description:
In this course you will learn the common types of inspection that take place in the care home setting. Effective strategies to aid in preparing all team members for an inspection are discussed. The roles that each team member plays to make each inspection effective, and how to ensure the inspection visit leads to quality improvement are explored.

After completing this course, participants should be able to:
- Define the common types of inspection in the care home setting
- Identify effective strategies to prepare all members of the team for an inspection
- Recognise the role of each team member in participating in an effective inspection
- Identify your role in ensuring the inspection visit leads to quality improvement
Who is this course appropriate for:
All staff working in the care home sector, particularly experienced care staff, registered nurses and managers.
