Assisting a Person to Shower
One of the key roles of care staff is the maintenance of people's personal hygiene and showering a person also provides the opportunity to assess their physical, cognitive and mental health. Through this course, learn how to provide full assistance with showering a person in your care.
After completing this course, participants should be able to:
Understand the importance of maintaining personal hygiene
Assist the person to shower safely whilst maintaining their dignity
Assess and monitor the person and report any changes in their condition

This course is appropriate for RNs and care staff who support people living with diabetes or have an interest in learning more about diabetes.
