This course describes common learning disabilities and some of the ways they might impact a person and their activities of daily living.

After completing this course, participants should be able to:

  • Define and describe common learning disabilities and their causes.
  • Identify how a learning disability can impact an individual as they age.
  • Recognise how a learning disability can impact a person’s activities of daily living.

    Who is this course appropriate for:

    This course is suitable for new support staff, experienced support staff and registered nurses.

    Up to 8 hours can be earned completing this course.
